Describe your calling to the ministry and why you think you are called?
I believe that, as a Christian, we are all called to ministry. As the word ministry or minister implies; to serve, to aid, to help those in need. It is my desire to do just that. To serve in not only material ways but spiritually. I am motivated.....yes, Enthusiastic about my prayer and Biblical study life. Each day I seek a closer walk with my Lord, Jesus. In growing closer to Him, I hope to display a greater love for others. That I may continually exhibit the same grace and mercy He has shown me in the forgiveness of my sins.
How did you become a Christian?
I was raised in church. I was taught the Golden Rule and the Ten Commandments from an early age. At he age of seven years old, I decided it was time for me to accept salvation and repent of my sins. As I grew in the church I saw many changes, many (sometimes distasteful) things take place. When I became a young man, I rebelled against what I felt to be hypocrisy in the church. To the point that I rebelled against God, Himself. Some years later, in the midst of this rebellion, God showed Himself real to me. That man is not perfect, nor ever will be. That I was wrong to blame Him for the actions of misdirected men. He showed me who He was. He shosed that His love for me is real. His love for all mankind is real. I again submitted my life to Him. I can't say that I have been perfect ever since, but I have always tried to show others the love He has for me.
